Working Women!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!
I went in for a group interview.......read from the script, found out about the company and went home.
One hour later I got a call from the HR lady that I had made the cut! I start training on Monday.
I was a bit hesitant about the whole idea because it is telephone fundraising for a VERY Conservative group of folks, and I don't always tend to agree with alot of those views.........but after hearing about a good handful of the 100 diffrent clients they help, I found that in actuallity there are only 3 organizations that I don't fully support, and only one of those three do I actually 100% disagree with......so all in all NOT to bad!

after the training week, which is 8am-noon, I will be starting my schedual and after talking to Rob this is what we came up with: Mon. 1pm-9pm (that way I can still help in matthew's class every monday!) Tue-Thur. 6am-2pm (that way I am home in the evening to spend time with the family and work on homework for my classes, also I can continue to watch the kids at the church on Wed. nights which is also a paid position!) and Fri. 5pm-9pm (so that Rob can still work his day time hours that day, and I can still help in Samantha's class!) Sat. and Sunday I will be off and Rob will be able to work when work is avaliable. Originally I was not going to work on Friday eithier, BUT as it sat I would have made $10 per hour only working Mon-Thur, and If I worked another 4 hrs a week my pay would go up to $12 an hour! SOOOO we decided it was financially better for me to just work the 4 extra hours on friday evening. The Only catch is that If Rob has to work out of town for a weekend i will need to find a sitter for the kids for the 4 hrs I will be working.......but I figure between Grandma Cec, Kristina just down the block, my neighbor, and the few girlfriends I have here, I can figure something out from time to time if the need arises! and with the $400 extra a month I will make with the pay raise, I can even afford to pay for it!!!!

I am so excited and compleatly blessed to have found a job that can work enough around my hours that I can still be avaliable for my kids, and my husband can still work on the weekends!!!!

I have an interview!!!!!!!

I got a call back today from MDS the phone fundraising place today.......I have a group interview on Thrusday at 2, and if that goes well, I should have a job!!!!!! I'm soooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we had company, and a very unproductive weekend!

The end of this week was better than last!
for starters my cousin came out to visit us, who the kids and Rob haven't seen since we moved alittle over 2 1/2 years ago. We had a very nice visit, and she was soooo kind in coming on vacation (one that had been planed before all of this shit happened!) and still paying for EVERYTHING that we did! I was able to take her to applebee's for a dinner with a gift card that I had, and my inlaws took us all bowling, so we had a little fun :) she also bought all of us Rosemary's one night, and got a some little crafts for the kids and her to do one day at home, we got some cute pictures!
Today we had to take her back to the airport, but on the way we made a detour to the Hollywood sign and got a picture for her, as well as Rodeo Drive, and the corner of Hollywood and Vine! it was a fun little excursion :).
Now we are getting ready to start another week, I still haven't found a job, and have continued to put in applications, I most recently sent one in to the FAA for a Air Traffic Controller, and to Walmart. I am hitting up Target and Denny's tomarrow night. I have gotten 3 letters of positions being filled so far......ick!

Tomarrow I have arranged with Kirstina to take matthew to school with her and her girls and drop samantha off with my Mother in law, who will pick the kids up as well, so that I can go with Rob to the college and get caught up on my online classes before I get kicked out. I got one of the two books that Crystal sent me, but I got accepted to one other class as well, so I need to get started on those two tomarrow. Its frustrating to have to do all this juggling, but I am determined not to give up on school or my education, I am just glad that my MIL is willing to help this week!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend, I know we certianly enjoyed our family visit!
