1st and foremost, my Hunny is HOME! I slept about 15 hrs since last nigth, and I feel so much better!! we have had a great day just hanging out at home and going out to eat :)
On to my newest battlew.........the TV, its such a curse and a blessing all rolled into one, My Son in his smart little way has learned not only how to turn ON the tv but he can find programs on the guide and the saved list, as well as set programs he wants to record........little shit is to smart for his own good!
The kids new favorite channel is PBS sprout program (516 for those with brighthouse) its a neat little channel with educational and very family friendly programs, so Ican't complain to much.
I have noticed tho with the heat, and lack of funds, we have been spending alot of time infront of the tube........and my kids behavior is changing for it......time to put the breaks on I guess!
Matthew gets so spazed out and hyper when he watches to much t.v. and I am noticing his ability to pay attention to directions, as well as make appropriate decisions about simple rules is becoming less, i feel horriable! but at the same time, he really loves his programs that he watches and acutally learns from them........just today he was telling me about the Eye Eye animal that has a big middle finger and taps the trees for bugs then bites thru the bark and uses its long finger to get the bugs out.........he said he learned it on Za Boomafoo......
It doesn't seem to be affecting Samantha to much, she is just not napping since we aren't really doing anything taxing.
Tomarrow's goal is to clean the house, and get the kids to work on thier rooms.......Matthew has been wanting ravioli's homemade, mabey we will get out the pasta press and make some for dinner!

my sister works for the Sprout network. We have "Star" plush toys and they just came out with a "Banjo" plush. My boys have had Sprout tattoos for weeks and we have an autographed picture of Miles and Banjo. I have Sprout coloring books and fridge magnets. We breathe Sprout and Noggin. It's sick.
