Well folks I'm almost done with my 3rd week of work, and let me tell you, this has been one BUMPY ride!!
The first full week was crazyness, Monday night after work, I couldn't get my brain to stop going over the script that I had been reading for 7 hrs! I ended up so tired on Tuesday, that I was dizzy by the time I got home. I took a one hour nap and then we went to parent-teacher confrence for matthew (that will be another blog!) Wed. I went to work and then went to the church in the evening. Between everything going on with Little feet Repeats, and school pictures for Samantha we have had some interesting things happening!
I got my first paycheck last friday! I was so excited! I came home and checked our bank account before heading to deposit it, and was shocked to see we were in the red!
of course I had to do a little investigating....so here is what I found out:
My Husband is NOT a "mister mom!" LOL
It starts like this, Samantha's dress for picture day got a rip in it, so he went to target and got her a new outfit and matching shoes......$40 worth!
Two of his afternoons were "busy" so he decided to get lunch for him and the kids.
that in itself wouldnt' have been bad, but we went out to dinner after PT confrences, and I put gas in the Van, and asked him to go to foodmax for some odds and ends on Wed........because I THOUGHT we had money! sooo low and behold, my first check went to bank fees! LOL Oh well at least it was covered!
Back to the hubby and my house.....
I recently found out that my kids didn't eat breakfast one morning last week, because they left it in daddy's car when he dropped them off and didn't tell Kristina they hadn't eaten.
Matthew hasn't worn the appropriate color on "color day" for 3 weeks now
daddy sent matthew's homework folder back to school with him on tuesday, with all of the homework for the week and parent information STILL INSIDE the bag!
Matthew's school started a fundraiser on the 15th, I found his bookbag in the van on the 19th, and finally figured out it was happening, and ending on the 27th.......daddy negelected to look inside the bag!
Laundry in my house is a whole story in itself, my husband has continued to was and dry the laundry and put it on the couch......however I am not home to fold it and have it put away....so that is where it has stayed, slowly becoming smaller each day as we dig clothes out to wear, and then re-appearing at the begining of the week to start the process over again.
I think we have eaten 3 home cooked dinners since I started working...between me leaving at 6am and both of us being gone until 2 and 3 pm respectivley, nothing is getting taken out for dinner and of course my hubby doesn't remeber to take anything out in the am or the afternoon, and I don't remeber at 5:25am when I am leaving the house with my hotpocket and coffee!
My floors need to be mopped so bad its sad! I started cleaning last tuesday....I got half of the bathroom clean and the dishes done before I needed to start with dinner and finish my LFR stuff!
This wed. I came home to find my husband laying on our bed with a bad case of vertigo, and the kids at the neighbors house. I took him to the Urgent care, where they ran tests and after about 5 hrs decided to send us to the ER for a CT scan. 3 hrs later we found out that everything was fine and it was just a virus that causes something to happen INSIDE your ears causing the vertigo, and Rob was perscribed valium and phenegran to help until it went away and told to take 2 days off from work. need less to say I didn't go to work yesterday, Although I was able to get the kids to school, get robs perscription filled, put gas in the car, take a NAP!!, drop my stuff off at LFR, eat dinner with my family, and go groccery shopping! of course now I have to work 6-3 on Sat. to make up the hours. Rob is at work right now until 3 and then I will head to work until 9 tonight and back for a good portion of Sat. and Rob is working in Ventura on Sunday while I teach Sunday School.
I would like to say its going to slow down and get better but I doubt it! I still am helping at the kids classes on Monday and Friday respectively, and at the church on Wed. nights and every sunday now because the two ladies that were helping me are having family/health problems.
This week I need to find, buy, or make the kids costumes, get matthew's shirt and patches done for scarecrow day at the school on halloween, help Rob decorate the Van for Trunk-or-Treat at the school, and make a cake or two for the cake walk at Samantha's school since I probably won't be able to be there with her. Oh and the cat is going to the vet on the 31st for his shots and teeth cleaning so I need to drop him of at 8am and remeber not to feed him the night before!
In three weeks its Matthew's 6th birthday! I have NO IDEA where we are having it, what I am getting him, what the cake is going to be? not to mention actually making invitations and getting them out by the 2nd or so!
A week after that will be thanksgiving, and making pies for the holidays and starting to make plans for Christmas and decorating the house (you know my halloween decorations never even made it out of the box this year!)
of course then we have the new year, and just a few days later is my birthday, then Samantha's birthday and Cece's on the 14th..........at that point I think I will be able to breath again!
So If I haven't called, messaged, blogged, emailed.......ect.......
now you know why!!
I have so many good pictures from pumpkin patch visiting, and carving.......I can't wait to have some free time to sit and blog again.......someday!!!
Until next time!

OMG those are some hilarious Rob-isms! Being a working mom is HARD work! :) Hang in there!
Welcome to the life of a working mom.
I am lucking if I get to clean my house at all, and that is only on the weekends if we dont have a ton of errands to do. During the week we are all too busy with school, work and other activities, so the house gets neglected.
Haha Rob, sounds like Peter. They do their best to help but most times they just make more work for us.
I am glad things seem to be going well for you even if you all are a little more busier.
I am SO glad to hear from you!!! I have been so worried the last couple of weeks. Rob is hilarious but just like a man - very linear-minded and hard to change!!
**HUGS** I am so glad you are bringing in the cash. Keep up the HARD work!!
