its Monday, where's the coffee?!?

Monday, Monday ba, da, dat, da, da.........for some reason I have that song stuck in my head now!

I would think being a stay at home mom, Monday's wouldn't be any diffrent than Sunday or Tuesday, but they are!

Today started just like yesterday.........exhausted!

Last night in a desperate attempt to sleep, I put both kids in bed with me at 8:30pm with the dogs and locked up the house. an hour and 1/2 later the t.v. goes off, the kids are almost blissfully asleep and.............dun, dun duh......the dogs both want to go out!

Oh well I was still awake anyhow! climb out of bed, go unlock the door and shoo them outside.....and head to the couch to read my book for a bit, praying I will get tired again soon, I want to sleep so badly!

12:30am a friend calls needing to talk, the same "friend" from my previous post. When I finally was able to shuffle back to bed ( at 2:30am) I found my bed was full: Matthew on one side samantha on the other, and both Bella and George on the bottom of the bed. I remember mumbling something which basically translated to "screw it!" LOL. I moved Samantha over crawled onto my little patch of the king size mattress and drifted to a deep and final sleep!!!!

7:57am I could swear that I hear my phone ringing...."not even opening my eyes!" I thought, andI turned over.

8:23 am I awake to "mommy, mommy, mommy.......",

a sliver of light peeks thru my eyelid as I whisper "shhhh, don't wake up your sister!"

"uhg, too late!"

my eyes feel like sand paper was stuck under them while I slept.......

I got us all up checked out the phone, called back Jenny, who it turns out just misses me (a big DITTO on that one!) and I drank two VERY LARGE cups of VERY STRONG coffee.

I remembered at 11am that bella had a vet appt. at 2, which was the perfect excuse to get an early dinner at the drive-thru ;)

remeber that storm I said HAD to be brewing with the kids? well apparently I need to go into behavior forcasting! so far today my kids have:

clawed at eachother (leaving nice red marks), pinched, and screamed at eachother.....oh and lets not forget the black and blue dry erase marks that the drew up each arm, or the green colored pencil that found its way on my bed sheet....that's ok though, now the bed sheet and the pool match! LOL

did you know that in just over 48 hrs a 16 ft x 46in circular vinalpool can grow enough allgie to cover the ENTIRE bottom of the pool? I found that out today...... so tomarrow we are off to the pool store to get the chemicals to "fix" it!

just about 3 hrs and I will have my hubby home! I have grand plans of a sleeping pill and 8 hrs of sleep........ahhh sleep.........damn I'm tired!
